Find out about your Netball Development Community Coach

Following England Netball’s successful Active Women bid, Sport England have funded ten Netball Development Community Coaches across England to deliver enhanced Back to Netball opportunities from 2011-2014.

The NDCCs are specifically tasked with setting up, marketing and delivering Back to Netball sessions specifically targeted at Mums and women living in deprived areas. In each local delivery area, the project outcomes include engaging 1200 new women (240 in year 1, 360 in year 2 and 600 in year 3), 30 new coaches and 30 new volunteers. A key function of the NDCC role will be to encourage participants to access courses to develop workforce and empower participants to create ongoing sustainable opportunities.
