Netball West Midlands

We aim to provide easy access for all, to life long netball opportunities, through the development of participation, partnerships and quality support systems.

Netball Talent League

The Netball Talent League is in association with England Netball's nine regions and eight of the nine franchises participating in The Co-operative Netball Superleague.

This is to create a competitive environment in which young netballers aged from 14-19 can experience high pressure games on a weekly basis throughout the year. England's most promising young netballers will have an opportunity to hone their skills and impress the national selectors en route to the senior game with the creation of this new elite youth competition.

The West Midlands National Talent League squad are called the West Midlands Warriors. They are are coached by newly appointed Lead Coach; Carl Hallbrook and Assistant Coach; Fran Porter. The NTL Team Manager is responsible for organising the squad on match days and we are pleased to announce that Ann O'Rourke will be fulfilling this role for the 2011-12 season.

Selections have now been made for the 2011/12 West Midlands Warriors squad following trials at Walsall Campus Sports Centre on Sunday 4th September. Netball West Midlands would like to congratulate the following athletes:

DOMINIQUE FORD-GORDON, ELLA GIBBONS, ASH GREEN, ALICE HAGYARD, LYDIA HALLBROOK, LUCY HERDMAN, TARYN LAWRENCE, SOPHIE MASTERSON, JORDAN MOXEY, AMI PICKERILL, MILLIE PRICE, GEORGIA READE, ELLIE REILLY, HAYLEY RUDD, CAROLINE TARNOWSKI, AMY THOMAS, ALEX BOUGHEY, JESS COTTRELL & KAYA WILSON
